Heltoften BB emphasizes healthy food produced local. We are members og Culinary Heritage Thy/Mors, which commits us to use as many local ingredients as possible. That´s why the golden local produced rapeseed oil, from the yellow fields around, an important ingredient in our cooking.
And that´s why the eggs and the apple juice is from the local Nordic Food College, and that’s why we buy the black bread and the granola is from Gårsbageriet, a small bakery in the countryside on Mors.
The sausage roll and the Salami is from Erslev slagter, and the cheese and yoghurt is from Thise Mejeri.
The berries for the marmalade is picked outside the house, and if you are hiking on the Coastal Route and you get your dinner here, we use vegetables and meat from local farmers. And you cal plan you own food safari on Mors and in Thy.
